More and more people are inquiring about owning a handgun than ever before, especially people who have never fired one. This course is designed for those who feel the need for instruction and training in Gun Safety and in the actual firing of the handgun.
In this course, you will receive a very basic understanding of gun handling and how a handgun operates, with tremendous focus on gun safety.
The course is taught by NRA/SLED Certified instructors in Lexington, SC. First and foremost are the Four Cardinal Rules of Gun Safety. Upon completion, you should feel competent enough to spend time on the range and to take our Concealed Weapon Course.
We will provide classroom training, firearm, ear/eye protection, range time, and targets. Ammunition is available for purchase with use of our firearm. If using your own firearm, you will need to provide your own 50 rounds of Ammunition.
