Active shooter training is designed to equip staff members with the knowledge and skills to effectively identify and react to an active threat situation, both during and after an incident. Completing this comprehensive training program enables companies and individual employees to better anticipate, identify, and respond promptly and effectively to active shooter or threat situations.
Upon completion of the active shooter training program, employees will be able to:
- Recognize signs that indicate an active threat is nearby.
- Clearly explain what to do when the police arrive on the scene.
- Describe warning signs of potential workplace violence.
- Discuss how to properly prepare for a threat situation.
- Identify and execute the best course of action when confronted with a workplace shooter.
